Missing Makenzie!

Yesterday afternoon Carson had some of his BFFs over for a potluck BBQ...it was a ton of fun...but we all found ourselves missing our good friends, the Diehl's! Mel, Eddie, and their daughter, Makenzie, recently moved to Florida and play dates just aren't the same without them!

A visit from Deedle!

Rachael came to visit in the middle of June....Carson had a great time spending some one on one time with her! We went to a playground, wondered around Boston and went on the swan boats, and did some shopping! Fun had by all!

While Deedle came to visit, we went to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall where there were some street performers from the Bronx....Carson decided to break it down with them! He marked right into the middle of the show...it was priceless!

A Visit from "Kris"!

Aunt Kristen came to visit Carson while Daddy was on a work trip to Vegas, shortly following our cruise. I was pumped to have the extra company, and it was awesome for Carson and Kristen to spend some one on one time together. We did all sorts of fun things, such as a trip to Cowabunga's (an indoor jump house), lots of time outside, a haircut, and endless renditions of Twinkle Twinkle, which Carson has now mastered, thanks to Aunt Kristen! Aka...Kris...as Carson likes to call her!

Birthday Cruise!

For my 30th birthday this May, Ryan swept me away on a cruise! We had a wonderful time despite it being the first time we both were away from Carson. Extra thanks to our good friends Stephanie and Slade for taking such great care of him while we were away!

We went on a Norwegian cruise to the Bahamas for 4 days, the perfect amount of time for us first time cruisers! The first day in the islands was spent on Norwegian's private island where we relaxed, caught up on some reading, and went on a boat tour of the island. The second day was spent exploring Nassau's Atlantis Resort where we got to swim with dolphins! This was by far the highlight of our trip!

Although we do not think we will be cruisers for life, it was definitely a wonderful chance to get away, relax, eat some great food, and enjoy each other's company! A wonderful birthday!
