5 MONTHS OLD!!
We decided to wait until Carson was 5 months old prior to introducing solid foods beyond rice cereal...his first attempt was AVOCADO! It did not go over so well...
This morning, we added just a little bit of Avocado to some rice cereal and he liked that much better....

4 Months Old!
Carson turned 4 months old on February 26th! Time flies! We learned at his 4 month check up that he is 12 lbs 14 oz (13 lbs with a full diaper!!) and 24 inches long. We are excited to add this height onto his growth chart, as it starts at 2 ft tall! Both measurements put Carson in the 15th percentile - still a peanut, but up from the 10th percentile!
Carson has been drinking a few tablespoons of rice cereal in his expressed breast milk bottles since he was about 6 weeks old - this is thought to prevent acid reflux and excessive amounts of spit up. Since he is now 4 months old, his pediatrician suggested that he can now enjoy rice cereal like a big boy! So we have begun giving it to him with a spoon - a talent he has yet to master!
We hope you enjoy his first solid food experience as much as Chomper did!
