A special thanks to Allison and Grace Howe who passed down many of these cute Halloween outfits! There were many many more worn that month, but I kept forgetting to take pictures! Can't wait until next year; the collection has already begun!

Happy Halloween from Carson!
So I know we are a little late with this post...but October was a fun month for Carson...not only was it is birth month, but we also got to dress up for Halloween! Enjoy!
Motherwell October Babies Party!
On the Sunday of Carson's birthday weekend, we headed over to our friend Kate's house for yet another birthday celebration. Makenzie, Zoey, Nadine and Carson all turned 1 years old during the month of October!
It ended up being a HUGE party, which caused Carson to be a bit overwhelmed, but he had fun playing with a lot of his best buds. And he finally got to wear his Superman costume!
Yummy Cake!
Cousin Nick is so much fun!
Dean the Lumber Jack
Jammin' with Dean
Emma couldn't be a cuter Amelia Earhart!

Happy Birthday, October Babies!
Carson's Crazy Birthday Party!
What a weekend we had celebrating Carson's first year! We had a small family and close friends party on Saturday, October 29th at a local farm. We were so excited to go on a hayride, wonder through a corn maze, visit their petting zoo, and gather pumpkins...BUT...
...If you can remember...the northeast got hit by a massive Nor'easter that very afternoon! The snow started to fall just as we turned into the farm parking lot. The farm was nice enough to move the outdoor party into their toasty warm greenhouse. Our hayride turned into more of a sleigh ride...and needless to say, the corn maze was all together skipped!
We were so grateful for all of Carson's family and friends that were such good sports and stuck it out through the entire party! We didn't lose a single RSVPed guest to the weather!
Afterwards, a handful of people headed back to our house for some pizza and presents....smack in the middle of opening Carson's gifts, the power went out! We would be out of power for the next 4 days...yet again, we didn't lose a single guest to unforeseen circumstances! Carson's buddies all stayed another hour and a half or so to finish with the festivities! The handful of babies that were present seemed to enjoy the dark "ambiance" as they chased each other around our kitchen. Good times! It will surely be a First Birthday to remember!

No Internet :(
Sorry for the lack of posts, everyone! Our internet has been down since our power went out in the middle of Carson's Birthday, so I have been unable to update the blog! Hopefully things will be fixed soon!

HAPPY FIRST BIRTHDAY, CARSON!
We can hardly believe that it is already Carson's First Birthday! It is been such a whirlwind full of laughter, curiosity, growth and LOVE! We love love love this boy!
We have quite the array of activities to commemorate this big day. Mom Mom, Aunt Deedle, and Cousin Nick fly in tomorrow night, shortly followed by Grammy and Grampa Moose on Friday to help celebrate the big ONE!
Saturday, we are having a close family and friends party at a local farm, where we are sure to enjoy a hayride, corn maze, petting zoo, and all sorts of other Fall fun!
Sunday, our family has been invited to the "October Babies" birthday party for my playgroup, where Carson will celebrate being ONE with his good buddies Zoe, Nadine, and Makenzie.
We couldn't let this important Wednesday go by like any other day however; so we had a little mini family celebration of our own at home tonight after dinner. Here is the start of what I only can assume will be many fun pictures of Carson's First Birthday Multi-Event Extravaganza!
More cake to come at his party...but we couldn't not give him a cupcake with extra bright blue frosting this evening!
Carson opened one present from hi great grandparents,
Gigi and Grape. It was a puzzle!
He also opened one present from Mom and Dad...a Tug Boat!
Thanks for my present, Daddy!
Of course the wrapping paper is always the biggest hit...
